Playa de la Concha
La Concha Beach is a protected beach with calm waters in El Cotillo, ideal for families and for enjoying the sea in peace.
Sand Type:
White and fine sand, of coral origin, very pleasant for walking and for families with children.
Indications:
La Concha Beach is located at the northern end of El Cotillo, on the northwest coast of Fuerteventura. By car: From El Cotillo, follow the signs to the lighthouse. There are parking areas nearby, and the final access is a short walk. On foot: It's an easy 10–15 minute walk from the center of El Cotillo, following the coastline. From other parts of the island: From Corralejo or La Oliva, take the road to El Cotillo, and once in town, the beach is well signposted.
Wave Type:
Very gentle or non-existent waves for most of the year. The beach is protected by natural rock formations that create a calm lagoon, ideal for safe swimming.
