Cofete Beach
Cofete Beach is one of the wildest and most spectacular spots in Fuerteventura: an immense stretch of golden sand, surrounded by mountains and open to the Atlantic, perfect for lovers of nature in its purest form.
Sand Type:
Golden to light sand, generally with a fine and clean texture.
Indications:
Cofete Beach is located in the south of Fuerteventura, within the Jandía Natural Park. It is accessed from Morro Jable via a dirt track of about 20 km that crosses the mountains.
Wave Type:
The waves in Cofete are powerful, open, break in a beach break with moving sandbanks, and present wild Atlantic conditions, ideal for experienced surfers but not recommended for casual swimming.
