Sotavento Beach
Sotavento Beach is one of the most spectacular beaches in Fuerteventura, known for its natural lagoon, its fine golden sand and for being a paradise for kitesurfing and windsurfing.
Sand Type:
Fine, golden sand, very clean and pleasant for walking barefoot. It is one of the most comfortable and extensive beaches in Fuerteventura.
Indications:
Sotavento Beach is located in the south of Fuerteventura, between Costa Calma and Morro Jable, within the Jandía Natural Park.
Wave Type:
Generally moderate waves and very calm areas, especially in the lagoon that forms at low tide. There may be some swell in the open sea, but it's not a dangerous beach like Cofete. Ideal for swimming, water sports, kitesurfing, and windsurfing.
